Goodbye marketDay 2, Kamikochi, the most beautiful scenery i have ever seen in Japan. The 3km hike to the half point was worth it!

Shirakawago, Houses made from straw from the edo period. 100s of years ago. Its a natural heritage site. My mom in law said it reminded her of "Attap house"-the asian version , usually found at kampung (village) ages long ago. Only bigger. ;)

Every 50 years they renovate. An original home, turned into a cafe. The cafe is 33years.
Day 3, Matsumoto Castle. I really could not climb the castle as the stairs were quite far apart.
Finally sometime to rest..phew...
